Creative Movement & Pre-Ballet Course Descriptions

CREATIVE MOVEMENT:  Since children naturally respond to music and movement, the activities are presented through music.  In the program, children learn listening skills, coordination skills, left and right discrimination, and patterns in movement.
This class has been specially designed for 2-3 year olds who are not yet comfortable being in class alone, each child is joined in the class by a parent or caregiver who will be the child's "dancing partner."  Both toddler and parent or caregiver work together in a fun and loving environment to create a bond for the love of dance.

PRE-BALLET PROGRAM:  Designed for the early development of technical ballet and movement.  It precisely meets the needs and limitations of pre-schoolers by providing a carefully paced sequence of exercises to develop physical conditioning with poise and grace.
